We went to his place around 10 something.
Thought of having a study break for that night.
Thought of coming back around 12 something close to 1am.
Thought of jamming a while.
Thought of playing some flash games.
Thought of changing to some ghost games.
And all these evil thoughts made us went to bed around 6am in the morning.
Actually it was the thought of playing ghost games screwed us up. We were initially playing hotel626 from A SNACK STRONG PRODUCTION. We had successfully finished the game with lights on and our pictures taken for their website as a proof that we played the game. As we were browsing through, we found out there's another game from the same producer above and was sponsored by DORITOS the snack.
ASYLUM 626. The caused we wasted our whole freaking night where we were supposed to be asleep.
Unlike Hotel626, this game is not much of a ghost game but more like a horror game where it involved mentally crazy people attacking you. Well, asylum more as less has explained the meaning: A sanctuary or place of refuge and protection, where criminals and debtors found shelter, and from which they could not be forcibly taken without sacrilege. (Google)
The introduction was pretty long, at least 5 to 6 minutes. And the most ridiculous part was we watched the introduction at least 8 times! RAWR. The reason behind it was this game needed a picture code (sample below) in order to access into the game. And the whole point DORITOS sponsored the game is because "Each bag of Doritos Black Pepper Jack and Smokin' Cheddar BBQ contains a marker image on the back. When you’re on the Asylum 626 Web site, you can hold the marker image up to your Web cam and “unlock” content in the Asylum. " which i think it either applies to US only or is no longer available (it was launched last year 31st Oct 2009 for Halloween purpose) . So far doritos sold in Aus doesn't contain the image on the back.
But, the funny thing was it did not stopped us from giving up but instead felt more enthusiasm or desperate in trying to get a way into the game. We googled and was told that it was not necessary to get the bag of chips with the image. You can print it out. And so, we did not have a printer.. we decided to draw and also take a picture of the image from the Internet.
Sadly, our drawing failed.
But this work!!
After trying a few times repeating the long dreadful introduction. We successfully went in! *note: Flash the image in front of your webcam so the camera could identify it. However, it is not easy for the stupid image to be identified, stupid asylum camera. BUT. Our excitement was soon replaced by great disappointment. After we entered the game, it was spooky.... but not more than 5 minutes we were required to verify the image again! The camera didn't get to verify the image in time, and GAME OVER with one of our picture snapped by our Webcam. We got so fed up and eventually we gave in.
Since it was already closed to 5am, we thought of cooking ourselves something to eat because we were starving and decided to wait for sunrise (rise around 540am) by going up to the highest floor of our apartment.
We're turning to asylum soon.
After eating, we proceeded up to the highest floor and only to find out that the door was locked. We can't go out. AAAHHHHHH! Stupid QPIS. The feeling of frustration and "speechless.......................!!
Now what's the whole purpose of staying up for such a long hour, few hours for that idiot asylum game, and not forgetting the 45 minutes waiting for sunrise. Stupidity and more stupidity.
I can't believe i stayed up waiting for nothing, so i just snapped a few pictures to satisfy myself.
