2nd day:

Byron Bay and Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise)

We were back from mount coot-tha around 10 something and all of us immediately went to bed. This is because we planned to depart around 2.30am in the morning to catch the sunrise in Byron Bay as the journey takes up approximately 2 hours to reach there.

Not sure if i was excited or usually i don't go to bed so early, i couldn't sleep and only get to
nap for 20 minutes. :(
Sze didn't get to sleep much too, that's why she decided not to join us. :'(

During the journey, Dana and i strained our eyes hard to stay awake so we can looked after Harn Jian in case he's sleepy. But thankfully, we reached the journey in one piece!

Byron Bay:

Close to 5am, sunrise around 5.40am.

Our sleepiness and dreariness were all gone once we saw the dramatic cliffs and magnificent views!

Apparently, the lighthouse was built on 1899, 111 years ago!

So calm and peaceful.

Were thinking very hard if we wanted to go and play in the water, finally we succumbed to temptation and went in. Fun in the beginning but regret in the end because we were seriously in a mess and very dirty!
